Dr Narendra Pamidi
Dr. Narendra Pamidi completed his Master of Medical Anatomy and PhD in Diabetes and Neuroscience from the prestigious Manipal University, India in 2012. He joined Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 2013. His academic experiences prior to joining JCSMHS include working as: Lecturer at KIMS, Nalgonda, India (2003 to 2005); Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and then Assistant Professor at MMMC, Manipal University, India (2005-2013). He also worked as a faculty sports coordinator, faculty adviser to the student council and was a member of student admission committee (2009-2013) in MMMC, Manipal University, India.
Dr. Narendra has published more than 45 research papers, case series and case reports in various peer-reviewed journals. He is an editorial board member and reviewer for several medical journals. He received the TJPS College Topper Award and Certificate in 1999 for excellent academic performance in his undergraduate studies. He is also a team member of the group that produced the award-winning clip Video Demonstration of Cadaveric Specimen (Manipal University, 2009). He is currently studying on the therapeutic use of environmental enrichment exposure on diabetic and stressed brain.
